

She was born on July 30th, 1921, in La Fargeville, New York , the daughter of Rev. Joseph and Georgia Richards. She graduated from Port Byron High School in 1939 and later from the Eastman School of Dental Hygiene. She was married by her father to Marvin Lewis of Syracuse New York at Ontario Bible Conference at Lakeview NY in 1941. After his return from the Pacific during World War II they moved to Rochester NY where she worked for many years as a dental hygiene teacher in the city schools. After retirement they moved to Kissimmee, FL and after his death she moved to Huntington WV.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Charles and Ellis and 2 sisters, Verna and Avice.
She is survived by one daughter Melodee and William Doull of Cape Vincent NY, and three sons: James and Elizabeth of Huntington, WV, Paul and Jacki of Ionia, Michigan and Brian and Ruth Ann of Avon, NY; 13 grandchildren - Marc Doull (Sarah) of Buffalo, NY, Michael (Kristen) of Hilliard, Ohio, Melissa (Larry) Oppenhuizen of Zeeland, Michigan, Matthew of Ionia, Michigan, Heidi of Tampa, Fl, Christian, Trevor (Courtny), Amelia Beatty (Joshua), Jesse and Joshua all of Huntington, WV , Aidan, Anna, and Brian all of Avon NY and 3 great-grandchildren - Kate, Jamey and Rylee. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews,
cousins and countless friends.
She was a loyal church and choir member of South Avenue Baptist Church in Rochester, NY for many years. A memorial service and internment is planned for the summer at North Wolcott NY Church and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Marvin and Beulah Memorial Fund for Counselors at Ontario Bible Conference NY in care of Dr James Lewis, 2335 Meadow Haven Drive, Huntington WV 25704. Although she is absent from us we rejoice that she is now in the arms of the Lord and again hand in hand with her husband Marvin, the love of her life.
