Evelyn J. Alexander

She was born January 13, 1948 in Parkersburg, WV a daughter of the late Normus Vincent and Faye Sams Vincent.

Evelyn was a lifelong member of the Order of Eastern Star. She always found great joy in spending time with her family. She will be forever loved and missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know her.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughters, Pamela (Terry) Somerville of Palestine, WV, Reyna (Joe) Alexander of Lakeland, FL; brothers, Walter (Eileen) Vincent of Smithville, OH, Dale Vincent of Parkersburg, WV; sisters, Nora Metz of Parkersburg, WV, Karen Wolfe of Parkersburg, WV, Sheryl Dawson of Parkersburg, WV, Debra (Steve) Mulinex of Carrol, OH, and Janet Dutton of Parkersburg, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Alexander; two sisters, Helen, Donna; two brothers, Russel and Carl.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Thursday January 23, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Hostutler officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the funeral home.
