Gary Crites, 79, of Belpre passed away on 8/26/2020 after a courageous battle with dementia. He was born on Oct 27, 1940 in Parkersburg WV, the son of Nora and Edgell Crites. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Crites; 3 brothers, Jimmy, Don and Buddy and one sister, Carole.
He is survived by his daughters, Julie Gould (Steve) of Marietta and Traci Pritts (Eric) of Knoxville, TN; Grandchildren, Derick Hamrick (Nicole), Briana Carns (Codey), Sydney Pritts, and Eric Pritts II; Great grandchildren, Angelina and Kylee Carns, and Brayden, Nolan and Blayne Hamrick; Sisters Shirley Crites Boswell, Sharon Marks (Bruce) and Sue Henes (Ralph); Brothers, David and Gene Crites (Jeannie). Gary is also survived by two very special nephews who were like sons to him, Steve (Donna) and Greg Crites (Tracy), as well as a bonus daughter Jamie Hubbard (Jon) and his beloved cat Creampuff.
Gary loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed singing, playing the guitar and riding his bike in his free time. There will be a celebration of life beginning at noon on September 2 at the Wingate by Wyndham in the Vienna Room, located at 1502 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, WV 26150.
