Jesteen Kay Raines

Jesteen Kay Raines, 82 of Lubeck, WV passed away February 12, 2020 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Coal Fork, Kanawha County, WV on January 28, 1938 to her parents, Guy and Dimple Frazier. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed her flower plots, feeding her wildlife, WVU sports, camping, the beach, spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She attended DuPont High School in Belle, WV. Jesteen is survived by her son, Bob Raines of Lubeck, WV, her daughter, Liz (Bob) Hughes of Parkersburg, WV, grandchildren, Kathleen (Jason) Woodyard, Joseph (Alisha) Hughes of Coral Springs, FL, Philip (Alicia) Hughes of Elizabeth, WV, Leah (Zak) Bataineh of San Antonio, TX, great grandchildren, Kate and Jake Woodyard, Meg, A.J. and Allie Hughes, Asher Bataineh, sister, Carol White of Diamond, WV and two nephews, Michael and Chuck White. Jesteen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jim in 2002. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Rich Fuller officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.sunsetparkersburg.com.
