She was born February 28, 1942 in Parkersburg, WV a daughter of the late Bernard Riddle and Freddie Dell Westfall Riddle.
JoAnne retired from Public Dept after many years of service. Her kind spirit, generosity, and compassion touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her brother, Bill (Kathy) Riddle; sisters, Emma Kellison, Peggy (Ray) Barnes; and nephew, Scott (Esther) Stalnaker and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; brother, Bud; three sisters, Jean, Cappy, and Mary Lou.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice and special caregiver, Mary Willis for the care and support in the final days of JoAnne’s life.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Friday December 12, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12 PM to 1 PM at the funeral home.
