He was born January 6, 1978, in Parkersburg, the son of Eric Whitlock and Jeanette Whitehead. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert E. and Marie Whitlock and maternal grandparents, V. Edward and Aileen E. Whitlatch.
Joshua enjoyed working on cars, collecting guns, hunting, and living life to its fullest.
In addition to his parents, left to cherish his memory are his sister Mindi Lea Crouser; half-sister Traci Jo Lovell and several nieces and nephews who loved uncle Josh.
