Leslie Diane Marty

She was born January 15, 1963, in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of Mary Lyda (Buchanan) Brown and the late Clark Edward Marty. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Jacob and Agetha Natina Marty. Following her disappearance, her maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Alma Leta Buchanan died along with several aunts and uncles.

Leslie enjoyed sewing, boating and lending comfort and a helping hand to others in a time of need. She loved her sister, Angela and adored her son, Joseph.

Family left to cherish her memory are her mother, Mary Brown of Parkersburg; son Joseph Marty and his wife Allison of Arizona; grandchildren Autumn and Hunter; sister Angela Kelly and her husband Jeff of Ohio; nieces Kathleen Angelili, Hanna (Richard) Lusk; nephew Dustin Kelly; three great nephews, Rylan Lusk, Kacin Lusk, Ayden Lusk; several aunts and one uncle and many cousins.

Service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Adam Paff officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Family Crisis Intervention Center, P.O. Box 695, Parkersburg, WV 26102.
