She was born June 26, 1936, a daughter of the late Lawrence Ohl and Inez Malone Ohl.
Lois retired as a cook from the Board of Education after 25 years of service. Lois was more than a cook, she provided support and guidance to the students she served at both Jefferson and Blennerhassett Elementary Schools. She was a Methodist by faith and attended Washington United Methodist Church. She was an avid bowler. She loved country music and enjoyed attending concerts. Above all, she enjoyed time spent with her family. She was the best mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, supporting them in all their endeavors. She was very loved and will be missed terribly.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her sons, Robert (Pamela Sue) Patton, Randy (Shelly) Patton; daughter, Kellie Patton; five grandchildren, Angela (Ryan) Lambert, Nick Patton, Brandon (Brittany) Patton, Jordan Patton, Aaron (Jessica) Patton; great-grandchildren, Deacon Lambert, Ella Lambert, Maverick Lambert, Brody Patton, Bristol Patton, and Attalie Patton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Patton; sister, Betty June Lance; and niece, Pamela Lance.
Per Lois’s requests, there will be no services at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A private family service will follow at a later date.
