She was born in Nitro, WV December 25, 1938 a daughter of the late Parker and
Icey Smith Lawson.
Lola was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, the sewing servants of the
Church, had sold Stanley Home Products and had been employed by the Uniform Boutique.
Survivors include sons: Michael D. and Douglas R. and wife Janet Schmutzer of
Parkersburg, brother; Nelson Lawson of Ohio, sister; Carol Pauley of Nitro and
grandchild; Lindsay Mae Schmutzer.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald R. Schmutzer, son; Timothy and sister; Velma Jean Dean.
Funeral services will be held Thursday December 3, 2015 at 12-noon at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens
Mauseleum Chapel of Peace.
