

Norman Michael Allen, born on April 9, 1957, in Shirley, Massachusetts, passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 68. A resident of Belpre, Ohio, Norman was a beloved, brave, faithful, and kind-hearted man who touched the lives of many.
He was born to the late Patricia Ann and Myron E. Allen. Norman is survived by his daughter, Jennifer McMahan, and his son, Brent McMahan, along with Bret's partner, Kelly Pannell. He also leaves behind a bonus son, Jerry Cantwell, and his cherished grandchildren, Devin Cantwell and Erin Cantwell. Norman's surviving siblings include his brother, Mark Allen, and sister, Peggy Allen. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Michael Anthony, and his brother, Tim Allen.
At the age of 17, Norman joined the Marine Corps, where he served for several years. He was a proud supporter of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and was actively involved in a VA support group, reflecting his deep love for his country.
Norman was married to Brenda Allen, with whom he shared a life filled with love and companionship. He found joy in spending time with his family and his pets, including his dogs, Spanky and Daisey, his parrots, Baxter, Jasper, Franky, and Toki, and his cat, Lightning.
In his personal time, Norman enjoyed fishing and collecting coins, hobbies that brought him peace and satisfaction throughout his life.
Norman Michael Allen will be fondly remembered for his dedication to his family, his country, and his community. His legacy of kindness and bravery will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him.
Services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 1:00 pm with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
