Paul Aaron Fleming

Paul Aaron Fleming, 34, unexpectedly passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023. Paul is survived by his father Aaron and his mother Gina (Hendrickson) Fleming, his sister Amy (Josh) Sheatsley, his nephew and niece Ryker and Rylee, his dog Josie, aunts Anna (Mike) Hinzman, and Karen (Bob) Parks, and countless friends whom he considered family.

Paul graduated from Warren Local High School in the Class of 2008. In high school, he was a member of the FFA and served on the Washington County Junior Fair Board and the Barlow Fair Board. Paul carried his passion for service into his adult life and was currently the Director of the Barlow Fair Board.

After graduating high school, Paul went on to become a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18, and was employed by Allen Stone Company at the time of his passing. Paul could operate anything with a motor, with skill and precision.

Paul was a farmer. He loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs. His passion for working the land was instilled in him by his good friend Phil Purdue, whom Paul loved like his own grandfather. He was a John Deere man, he loved boating, camping at the river with family and friends, and he loved Christmas – especially hanging outdoor Christmas Lights.

Most of all, Paul was kind. Paul had a huge heart. He was a hard worker, fun-loving, caring, and always smiling and laughing - a laugh that once heard, you wanted to hear again. Paul was a giver of his time and of his skills and he was generous with both, always lending a hand and taking care of what he loved – and he loved his family, his farm and his dog, his friends, and the community he called home. Paul was an extraordinary son, brother, uncle, nephew, friend, and coworker.

Visitation will held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 2 pm to 8pm at Friendship Ridge Christian Fellowship, 4485 Braun Rd, Belpre, Ohio, with funeral services beginning at 11 am on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. Burial will follow at Veto Cemetery, Vincent, Ohio.
