She was born Nov. 13, 1920 in Jerry’s Run, WV a daughter of the late Elmer and Delma Rawson Morris. She had been employed by Corning Glass, was a member of Wayside United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed her family, friends, and cooking.
She is survived by three sons, Larry (Cindy) Currey of Washington, Maurice (Eva) Currey of Teays Valley, and Marcus (Vicky) Currey of Fresno, CA; grandchildren, Holly Sprout, Nicole, Hilary, Justin, Aaron, and Josh Currey, and Vanessa Bennett; great-grandchildren, Christian Currey, and Raeghan and Kynlee Bennett; and one brother, Lawrence Morris of Parkersburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Lockhart Currey; one sister, Kathryn Kidd; and one brother, Leonard Morris.
Services will be 12 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Mike Towner officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday one hour prior to the services.
