

Andy was born November 21, 1922 in Rockport WV to Forrest and Emma Zellea {Knapp} Anderson.
He served in the Navy during WW II. Andy was a Fireman for the railroad between Parkersburg and Charleston. He drove for Greyhound in Charleston and was a long distance truck driver for Roadway Express. Andy was a member of Milhon Ridge Baptist Church. He loved remodeling, woodworking and watching westerns.
Andy will be deeply missed by his two daughters, Joyce Geer Janet (Ron) Friesenhengst all of Belleville; two granddaughters, Sherri (Bill) Morrison of Belleville, and Mandy (Todd) Holshouser of Rockwell, N.C.; three grandsons, Andy Geer of Kansas City, Mo., Daniel (Erika) Friesenhengst of Ironton, Ohio, and Adam Friesenhengst of Kanapolis, N.C.; five great-grandchildren, Tony, Amber, Drew, Hunter, Greysen, Aubrey, Madison, Lane, Alivia, Paige, Haven, Erin, Sylyna, Samantha, Katlyn, Jordan, Kynlee, Aleigha and Briana, many nieces and nephews.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruth of 70 years, son-in-law John, brother Bert and sisters Oma, Freda and Edith.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 10 to 1 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 1 at the funeral home with Pastor Ronald Stephens officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
