Vivian Madge Stanley

Vivian was born December 21, 1924 in Alma, WV to the late Gernie and Ina Wharton Vansickle. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Stanley; son, Gary Stanley; son-in-law, Bill Butterfield; and a brother, Carl Vansickle.

Vivian was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, where she especially loved singing and worship.

Left to cherish her memory are children, Linda Butterfield of Parkersburg, and Richard Stanley (Linda) of Fairmont; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; numerous friends, and wonderful neighbors.

Visitation will be 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 1934 Dupont Road, Parkersburg, WV 26101.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm Friday, April 5, 2019 with Ron Laughery officiating at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
