Angus was born in Edzel, Scotland, and joined the RAF in 1946 serving as a wireless operator in Palestine. After leaving the RAF he immigrated to Canada, eventually settling in Vancouver and starting a 32 year career with BC Tel, as a Microwave Man and Network Manager. In this capacity he lived in Kamloops, Cranbrook, Princeton and Prince George.
Angus is survived by sons Gary (Jan) of Prince George, Mark (Janice) of Lethbridge, Alberta; daughter Marina (Don) of Saltspring; grandchildren Laura, Hanna, Riley, Jenna, Jessie, and Scott; great grandson, Owen; brother Gordon (Jean) Fettis of Yorkshire England; Dave (Joanne) Wilson; Eve Miller; Colin Roberts; Leslie and Ian Cook, Nigel and Laura Roberts; and long time partner and friend Helen Roberts. He was predeceased by daughter, Heather and former wife Honorine.
Angus was an avid skier, golfer, toastmaster, and sailor; wrote technical and historical articles for the Ballenas Power Squadron; and was a wonderful dancer.
