April Irene Obersteiner, aged 57, passed away at home in Nanoose Bay B.C., with her loving husband singing sweetly in her ear.
Passionate wife, daughter, friend, teacher, calligrapher, photographer, and traveller. She was also an enthusiastic animal and chocolate lover.
April wishes she’d had more time for letter writing, drumming, volunteering, shepherding, ballroom dancing, spoon bending, and learning the art of Tai chi.
Her greatest sorrows were being too ill to enjoy retirement with her husband, David Welsh, to spend more time in Calgary with her mother, Glee Obersteiner, and to eat, drink herbal tea, and be
merry with cherished family members and friends at home and in locations around the world.
