Raised in Regina and spending fond summers in B-Say-Tah, Saskatchewan, Candace fell in love with Vancouver Island in the 1970s and made it home.
Deeply connected to her community through her work in the BCEGU, and passionate support of local music, art, politics and activism.
She is survived by sons Sean, Thomas and James; granddaughter Steph, beloved feline companion Simone, and many, many cousins, neices, nephews, and friends she considered family.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date this fall.
