Clara loved to laugh, and she was always singing and dancing. “The Sound of Music” was one of her favorite films, and she loved the song “Edelweiss,” or as she called it, “Bloom and Grow.” Clara was very active; she enjoyed climbing and playing at the playground near her home, and playing with all the kids in her neighbourhood. She was very close to all of her family, and especially enjoyed spending time with her cousins. Clara loved flowers of all kinds; she loved to pick dandelions for her mom and any other pretty flowers she could find. Clara also loved hamsters, and she often surprised house guests with a visit from her hamster. Clara enjoyed reading “Madeline” books, and would finish the sentences when her mom read them to her. Perhaps because she had three older brothers, Clara was particularly proud to be a girl, she almost always wore something pink, she loved having her hair done by her mom, she usually wore a dress and had begun to amass an impressive collection of shoes.
Clara is survived and missed terribly by her parents, Barbara and Mitchell Holte; brothers, Matthew, William, and James; as well as her Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles, and many Cousins.
