Elmer also known as Butch and/or Al.
Al passed away at his home in Errington, BC. He leaves behind his sister Sharon Evans, brother Gary Cochrane and close cousin Bruce (Cindy & Megan) Malfait. Al also leaves his dear friends Rick and Danny along with other friends and family members. Al was pre-deceased by his father Steve Evans.
Al spent his time between his home in Errington, BC and Fort McMurray, AB, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator.
Sharon would like to thank Rick, Danny, Bruce and Cindy for all the help and compassion you showed him and for being such good friends.
We know that Al is now in peace and free to enjoy the wild outdoors, his great passion.
There will be a coffee gathering for Al held at the Yates Funeral Home in Parksville, September 12th @ 11am - 1pm.
