

Born in Shepard, Alberta on September 27, 1924 to Roseabel and Harry Robertson. The family moved to Hartel, Alberta in 1929. Passed away peacefully on February 18, 2014 in Parksville, British Columbia.
Evelyn graduated from South Turner Valley High School. She joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and completed her nursing course on discharge. When World War II was over she completed a diploma in Psychology from the University of Calgary 1945-1947.
She was a Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Veteran and Friend. She was predeceased by her mother, father, sons Raymond and Jimmy. Sisters – Dorothy, Maxine, Betty and Jocelyn. Brothers - Malcolm, Harry and Jack.
Leaving to mourn her husband Jim, children Paul (Linda) and Janey (Tristram), grandchildren Jim (Chris), Raelene (Brian), Danny (Tammy), Jenevieve (Greg), Stacy (Kyle) and Adam (Natasha), great-grandchildren Ali, Rhys, Brandon, Brock, Caroline, Ben, Tasha, Tori, Trinity, Marlee, Hannah, Tavin and Aurelia.
Evelyn made request to say “Thank You” to her special group of friends.
Evelyn’s wishes were to be cremated and scattered at Marsden Falls on the Highwood River in Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 278 in Grande Cache, Alberta.
