It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Irene. She died peacefully at home in Fanny Bay with her family by her side. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Marc Vercleyen; daughter, Tammy Campbell; and grand daughter, Sidney Campbell.
Irene and Marc moved from Calgary to Fanny Bay in 1990. She quickly became an active member of her community; volunteering countless hours with the Lion's Club and the Bowser Legion. The things she most loved were her family, being on the boat fishing with Marc, and her garden in which she took great pride. She did so very much to help others, was a trusted friend, wonderful mother, and proud grandmother.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Irene's honour at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 27th ath the Bowser Legion, 7035 West Island Highway in Bowser.
