June 17th 1942 – June 10th 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald after a brave battle with cancer.
He was predeceased by his father Henry Romuld, sons Daniel Boire, and Wayne Boire; and is survived by his wife Sherri, his mother Lillian Romuld, sister Karen Brown, sons Neil Boire (Karen), James Romuld, Larry Boire, Allen Romuld (Michelle Jamieson), daughters Louise Smith (Neil), Karen Pater, Linda Romuld, Geraldine Johnson (Richard), nephew Steven Brown, niece Susan Romuld and many grand and great grandchildren, a grandniece, and a grandnephew.
Although born and raised in Port Alberni, he spent the last 30 years living and working in the Ucluelet area. He will be sadly missed by family and friends in both communities.
We will miss you Old Man.
An afternoon tea will be held on June 25th from 1pm to 3pm at the Alberni Rescue Squad Hall at 4790 Tebo Ave, Port Alberni. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations be made to the Ty Watson House, or Canadian Cancer Society.
