It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Gladys Evelyn Marie Doyle at WCGH on Saturday, February 24, 2018 with her family by her side.
Gladys was predeceased by her parents Nels and Karin Edson and her brother Ivan Edson; she is survived by her children Frank Wale, Karin (Patrick) Hawkins, Bruce (Dan) Wale, and Joseph Wale; her grandchildren Shayleen Wale, Shayne Barbosa, Patrick Barbosa, Shawna Taylor and Andrew Gallagher; her great grandchildren Ahmber Barbosa, Kennedy Barbosa, Gabriel Barbosa, Ethan Barbosa, Jayden Wale, Keegan Taylor, Nicol Schmidt, Jessica Wilson and Tyler Sidnick; her great great grandchildren Tanner Lachman and Nathan Lachman and her nieces Joanne Edson and Cheryl Swanson.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Southside Community Church of the Nazarene - 4190 Victoria Drive, Port Alberni at 12:30 PM - Cal Barber officiating. Reception to follow the service.
