Harold is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carol; children, Cathy (Rick), Jamie (partner, Donna), Ron (Shirley), Brad (Jill); 8 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Joan (brother deceased); nieces, nephews, and cousins in the Okanagan, United States, and Austria.
Harold was a true athlete excelling in hockey, lacrosse, baseball, and soccer in his younger years. In his working career, Harold was a master plumber for Fred Welsh & Sons and then joined the Fire Department in 1960 retiring in 1991 as Captain. In the later years of retirement, his personal mission was to master the game of golf which he loved so much. Carol and Harold enjoyed many memorable adventures fishing and golfing together.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Harold’s honour from 12:00 TO 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 26th at The Firefighters Club, 6516 Bonsor Avenue in Burnaby.
