John Hedley Le Gros

He is survived by his wife Lynda, daughters Kim (Gilbert), Kathie (Ray), sons Jim (Carla), and Ed, as well as his “Island Family” mother-in-law Sue, daughter TammyLynn (Chris), son Mike (Marcia), sister-in-law Katie (Ross). He loved all his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

John accomplished much in his life, rising to the top in all his endeavors from Director of Fire and Public Security in the town of Mount Royal Montreal, Vice President of the Quebec Professional Firefighters in the province of Quebec and Master of Westmount Masonic Lodge Montreal to Potentate of Gizeh Shriners of British Columbia and Yukon in 2012.

In his personal life he enjoyed playing golf, travelling, daily crosswords, sudoku and jigsaw puzzles. He was a loving, caring, thoughtful husband, father, grandfather, papa and friend.

The funeral service will be held at St. Columba Church, 921 Wembley RD, Parksville on May 24, 2025 at 2 PM.
