Karen was born in 1969 to her parents, Gladys (Ken) of Fort St John, BC and Ken (Kathy) of Vanderhoof, BC. She also leaves behind her siblings Shelly (Grant), Rob (Brittany), Megan (Derec) & many nieces & nephews, Sheldon, Chelsea, Hayden, Cody, Rebecca, Ryder & Jordyn, as well as her great-nieces & nephews, Riah, Jackson, Oliva & Mia, many Aunties and uncles, cousins, friends and very special families, Linda (Gene) and Sarah (Emily).
Karen had a rare medical condition called, Angelman Syndrome, and if you ever had the pleasure of meeting her, you would have known that you met an Angel on Earth. She was always happy, clapping her hands, stomping her feet, twiddling string between her fingers or throwing stuff just to make you laugh. Karen loved food, but most importantly she loved dessert, so tonight, let's all eat dessert first!
Karen will be Laid to Rest on August 16th, at Yates Memorial in Parksville.
Always Loved, Forever Missed.
Until we meet again, our beautiful Angel.
