He leave to forever miss him his wife of 65 years, Norma; sons, Martin and David; favourite daughter in law, Melanie; granddaughters, Adrienne (Richard), Melissa (Ron), and Jennifer (Dustin); great grandchildren, Isaac, Aria, Ave, Owen, and Erik; as well as many extended friends and family members.
Muus was born in Koog aan de Zaan in the Netherlands and immigrated to Canada with his parents and sister in 1951 settling in the Alberni Valley. He worked as a welder, shipwright, blacksmith, and carpenter for many years at Alberni Engineering before becoming a house builder.
Muus will be remembered by many for his glass blowing which he greatly loved.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal service.
