Ricky Floyd ISNARDY

1963 - 2017

Ricky passed away on September 20, 2017 in the evening hours at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria.

He is survived by his son George Johnson, his brother Willard Isnardy, niece Anna Isnardy and nephew John William Isnardy and a large extended family (Judy Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Martha Johnson, Rudy Watts Jr., Arianna, Jenelle, Kensie, Natalie, Andrew, Katie, Mason and Cohen) 

As a father, brother, uncle and grandfather, Ricky will be missed dearly. His sense of humor and helpfulness will be forever remembered.  Our comfort rests in the knowledge he is reunited with his parents Inez Isnardy and George Cardinal, his brother Butch George Isnardy and sister Harriet Isnardy.

Ricky was born in Williams Lake and moved to Vancouver at the age of 4 where he was raised. He lived a majority of his life in the Lower Mainland until he moved to Vancouver Island – here he lived for some time in Nitnaht Lake, Grappler Creek/Bamfield and finally making home in Port Alberni.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Yee, Dr. Fedoruk and Dr. Sherk and the wonderful nurses Erin, Kim, Shawna, Andy, Evan and Stephanie for your compassion and kindness.

Cremation will take place.  A service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 – 11:00 AM at Yates Funeral Chapel with lunch to follow.
