Bob and Sandi married in 1976 while living in Penticton. They subsequently lived in the lower mainland, the Fraser Valley, the Okanagan and then moved to Victoria in 1987, where they lived until moving to Parksville in 2016.
Bob had a lifelong interest in cars, and anything related, was a journeyman mechanic and worked as a service manager for several dealerships and automotive shops before retiring in 2003. He was always pleased to be the family and neighborhood “Mr. Fix-it”.
He loved a “road trip”, there were many to Chehalis, WA where Sandi grew up, exploring the state with family and friends. Following retirement his favourite trips were extended adventures down the west coasts of Washington, Oregon, and California, collecting memorabilia all the way down and back.
We would like to thank the staff at Arrowsmith Lodge for the kindness and care extended to Bob during his time there.
At Bob’s request there will be no service. Donations may be made to Brain Injury Canada which funds local supports for the brain injured and their families.
