

Rosalind passed away peacefully and will be forever missed by her loving family. She was born in Scotland and served in the Women’s Land Army, Timber Corp. during WWII in Northern Scotland. She married a Canadian and came to Canada as a war bride in 1946. Rosalind lived in Nfld, Nova Scotia, and Ontario having had a successful career in University and business libraries during that time. She moved to Vancouver, B.C in 1977 and later retired to Parksville where they were founding members of the Parksville Lawn Bowling Club.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Alex, sister Ernestine and son in law Bryan.
Rosalind is survived by her loving children: Roslyn, Louis, Colin (Lesley) and Heather.
Grandchildren : Ian, (Laurie), Shannon, Melanie,( Mike) Amy,(Ben), Alanna, Brandon, Andrew, James and Gt. grandson Logan.
She was much loved for her wisdom and kind , loving nature. A special thank you for the incredible kindness of the staff of Trillium Lodge, Parksville.
