Stephan will be deeply missed by his wife Liliana, son David (wife Daniela), grandchildren Ben and Austin, nephew Peter and many other family members. He was predeceased by his sister Ivanka, brothers Karl and Vendilin Jr.
Stephan was born on November 18, 1934 in Ceric, Croatia. He came to Canada in 1956 and spent 25 years working for Velan Engineering in Montreal as an assembler of valves. In 1981 he decided to retire and pursue his passions of hobby farming, beekeeping, wine making, hunting and fishing in Eastern Ontario. At the age of 60 he and his wife moved to beautiful Vancouver Island and bought a home in Parksville, where he continued to enjoy his passions (minus the beekeeping,) until his passing.
He loved his family and especially his grandchildren. He will greatly be missed.
