It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Surinder Kaur Kang.
Surinder Kaur was born in Dhandra, Punjab, India on May 9, 1939. She immigrated to Canada with her husband, Parshotam Singh Kang, and young children in 1969. They settled in Nanaimo, BC, where they created a beautiful home and life together, filling the lives of their children and grandchildren with unconditional love and joy. Her unwavering faith in God, compassion and respect for others, and unforgettable homemade meals created a comforting, peaceful and welcoming home for everyone.
Grandma, you will be in our hearts, prayers and memories now and always. You are simply irreplaceable. We miss you.
A funeral service for Surinder will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Yates Memorial Services, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville, BC V9P2A9.
