Sylvia passed at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Alexander Davies Hamilton.Sylvia will be lovingly remembered by her children Wendy Hampton, William (Bill) Hamilton (Donna) and Susan Monsma (Bert). She also leaves her grandchildren James Monsma, Mark Monsma, Kyla Mould (Hampton), Rachel Hampton and Levi Jones and her great grandchildren David Monsma, Andrew Monsma, William Monsma, Charlie Mould and Tyler Poplatek.She is also survived by Norm and Em Hamilton and children Joan LeFaivre and children, Dee Litke and children, Peter and Cindy Woods, Janet Woods, Wayne and Sharon Woods and Calvin and Jennifer Woods.Sylvia was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Born in London England later moving to Canada for marriage she spent many happy years on Gabriola Island. She was involved in the bathtub races, outhouse races and the Variety Club fund raising committee. She will be forever loved, always remembered, til we meet again.
