Thomas Wells Bell, Son of the late William Bell and Janet Wallace passed away at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on Sunday May 1st at the age of 86.
He leaves to mourn his sisters, Betty (Real Poutre) of Newport, Vermont and Irene (Gordon Stewart) from Derby Line, Vermont. He was predeceased by his brothers, David (Pauline), Robert (Anna), William (Kay), John (Annie), George and sisters Jessie (Maurice West) and Ivy (Leo Fortier). Also mourning are long time dear friends Marlene and Richard.
He loved his role as Uncle and Great Uncle Tom to his many nieces and nephews. He also loved nature and the carving and creating of many projects in his workshop.
In keeping with Tom’s wishes there will be no funeral service. As he requested, his ashes will be laid to rest in the Lakeview Cemetery’s Columbarium Gardens overlooking the beautiful area of Penticton where he lived for many years. This will be done by family members at a future date.
