He was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Jennifer Susan Abbott nee Tattersall in 2015. Wayne is survived by his parents, William and Frances Abbott; sister, Allison Robinson (Greg); brothers, Glenn (Janis), Brian (Sharon) and Allan (Sharron); sister-in-law, Philippa Tattersall (Brian); brothers-in-law, Richard Tattersall (Mon), Peter Tattersall; dear friend, Lois Pennell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wayne was beloved and cherished by all who knew him. He lived his life with integrity, honesty and enthusiasm.
A spirit of such optimism and joy can never be extinguished.
