Byron Robin Peden, 65, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015. He was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon on August 3, 1950. Byron grew up in Southern California and attended Life Bible College on a basketball scholarship. Byron moved to the Houston area in 1983. In February 1986, he met Jennifer and they were married six months later on August 16th. During their 29 years together, the Lord blessed them with four beautiful children. Byron was passionate about many things throughout his life, including karate, basketball, teaching scuba diving, playing the piano, singing, writing, music, and directing dramas. But most importantly, Byron was passionate about the Lord, community outreach and his family. He was a loving husband and father that strived to always keep God as the center of the home. Byron was also a people person. He never met a stranger and could easily strike up a conversation with anyone. Byron loved to make people smile and loved to share about the Lord. He also loved vacationing with his family at Disney World and seeing them laugh and smile. He loved animals and would even pull over on the side of the road to help an injured animal, even if the animal was a large snapping turtle. Byron loved helping people. If there was ever a need that was made known to him, he always volunteered to give his aide. He used his creativity to build drama sets, website designs, create stories, or ideas. He was an inventor, a builder, a writer, a singer, a teacher, a director, a designer, a worshiper, a husband, a father, and a friend. Every day with Byron was an adventure and we will all greatly miss the wonderful times we shared. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M at Faithbridge Church at 4711 Center St. Deer Park, TX 77536. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. with interment following at Grand View Memorial Park.
