Carmen Luz Sanchez

Carmen Luz Sanchez, known affectionately as "Cita," passed away peacefully at home on September 16, 2025, at the age of 85. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on April 13, 1940, Cita blessed her family and friends with her joy, compassion, and love throughout her life.

Cita was a kind and gentle soul, known for her generosity and willingness to help others. She enjoyed family gatherings, parties, and outings, and was never shy about singing and dancing to her favorite songs. Her vibrant spirit made her the life of the party.

Cita was deeply dedicated to her family, retiring early to spend more time with them and providing love and guidance to her grandchildren. She will be profoundly missed by her son, Ramon Monserrate Sr. (Ana Monserrate), her grandchildren, Ramon Monserrate Jr. and Dalila Rodriguez, her great-grandchildren, and many close friends.

Cita leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and joy, and her memory will continue to be cherished by all who knew her. She now joins her late husband, Joaquin Sanchez, and her sister, Gallega Monserrate.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held in her honor at the Pasadena Funeral Home, Chapel, located at 2203 Pasadena Blvd, Texas, 77502, on October 4, 2025, at 11:00 am.
