Corina Elvira Mayo

Corina Elvira Mayo known to all as Mamie.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend to many. Mamie went to the be with the lord on February 13, 2026.

Mamie was known for her infectious smile and warm welcoming hugs and to know her was to love her. She loved BIG and will be missed deeply.

"We can shed tears that she is gone, or we can smile because she lived a whole 91 years."

She leaves behind her children Doris (Mike), Susie (Ruben), James (Dewanna), and Tina.

She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Nicole (Daniel), Jessica (Rene), Sonya, JR, Naomi (Will), Danielle, Sarah (Sean), Marissa (Patrick), Ty, Jack.

Great grandkids - Corin, Cayden, Sabrina, Rudy, Isabella, Abigail, Jayden, Desiree, Jasmine, Navo, Priscilla, Amylia, Christian,Tatiyana, Ava

Great-great grandchildren- Deuce, Jeremiah, Alayla, Rene, Jordan, Malani, Ellie

Mamie will be reunited to rest with her husband Jessie Mayo, son Richard Mayo and grandson Christopher Mayo.

A visitation will be held at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, located at 2203 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena, TX, 77502, on February 23, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place at the same location from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

A committal service is scheduled at South Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX, 77581, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on the same day.
