Elisa Flores Rodriguez was born on September 16th in Pasadena Texas. Daughter of Antonio and Calixtra Rodriguez, she was known as a kind and compassionate woman. Through her childhood she took care of her mother Calixtra until her death. In 1964 she moved into the newly weds Victor and Martha Espinoza’s home on 2610 Harris Avenue. They were all childhood friends and have grown up together all their lives. She worked in many different industries but the main two were automotive and housekeeping. She loved cars and could describe to you all the cars she had and what she did to them. As well as her jobs she took care of Victor Espinoza Jr, Victor and Martha’s son and his friends and relatives. Everyone of them was special to her and she made them know it. From trips to San Antonio or seeing Elvis at the Houston rodeo she always took time to do things for others. Later in life she was working for strawberry clinic when Victor Jr and Debbie had their first child. She left her job to be able to take care of Victor Jr’s growing family. Until she went to be with Jesus she was a light to all of us. Full of humor and delight to all and everyone around. She knew where she was headed, seeing Jesus was her ultimate reward. She was one of the greatest faithful servants..
