Freddy's personality preceded him and that made people that barely had any personal contact with him feel like they had known him forever.
Wonderful sense of humor - always the life of the party.
Would get involved in anything that had to do with his girls, whether being in a ballet at the Music Hall as an old toymaker or donkey basketball at their school. There was nothing he wouldn't do. In his later years we had a craft store and he had the knack for picking out the perfect stick to use for primitive items. From that point on he was forever known as the "Stick Whisperer". This was an inside joke.
His favorite saying was "don't make me come over there" and also "I'll pay you $5 to lick this jalapeno". .
Played softball on work leagues. Later years he loved the game of Golf. He had a passion for vintage muscle cars and classic rock. Especially his favorite Beatle George Harrison. Loved While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
