Larry Allen Gossett

He was born in Springfield, Ohio on July 28th 1943 to Robert and Maxine Bartz. He was married to Deanna Gossett for 40 years. Larry made a career for himself in the trucking industry, driving for many and dispatching to finish out his working years at companies such as Jevic Transportation, Lane Freight, and Waste Management to name a few.

He had a passion for fishing, NASCAR, and wrestling. He also loved to tend to his lawn and flower gardens.

He was preceded in death by his parents Maxine Bartz and Robert Bartz and daughter Debbie Michener.

He is survived by his wife Deanna Gossett, sons Bill, Richard, Waylon, and Christopher “Cody”, and daughters Wendy and Dawn. He also leaves behind grandchildren Tristen, John, Erika, Candace, James, Jenna, Caleb, Hayden, Landry, Savannah, Peyton, Wyatt & Levi and great-grandchildren Kathrine, William, and Patrick. He leaves in love his brother James Bartz.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 10:30AM to 11:30AM with a Celebration of Larry's life beginning at 11:30AM at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 Pasadena Boulevard, Pasadena, Texas 77502. Immediately following, he will be laid to rest at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
