Maria is lovingly survived by her daughter, Eva Salas Thompson and husband Marcos; her son, Adam Douglas Thompson and wife Lisa Holz; her daughters, Maria Cecilia Thompson, Elizabeth Jane Khan and Sandra Bostick; her brothers, Ernesto Garza and Juan Duarte Garza. "Ms. Mary", as she was affectionately known, also leaves to cherish her memory10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Maria and Cecilia Duarte Garza; two son's-in-law "Chuck" Khan and Kenneth Wayne Bostick.
