Hi my cuz Rudy,
I know Im late in writing you but you know why because you have been here in my heart with my mom.  I miss you dearly and not a day has gone by where i dont think of you.  This pain of you leaving us all has been as hard on me like the day mom left us. Thank you for the laughs especially during the time of my surgery.  You called every day before and after.  You have the most kindest and giving heart.  Thank you for being you and always lighting up everyones day.  I will miss you always and the pain will always be here in my heart.  God bless. Rudy its like i knew you mostly my hold life .you where a sweet guy that i ever knew I'm glad i was able to call you my uncle. I'm going to really miss you i know you are there with our lord may you rest in peace

I remember in the early 90's when Rudy work with my wife Mary at Rice Food Mkt.on Patton & Fulton he would come by the house and eat some of Mary's home made flour tortillas he love so much.Rudy also bought a 1979 Blue Chevy truck from Jesse a neighbor down the street.Rudy was a very kind and helpful person R.I.P.

Rudy  such a gentleman and so helpful to many.  Kindness not many shared like you did. Thank you for setting an example not to be forgotten any time soon.

Searching for words to express myself but it's difficult. Really enjoyed our friendship. I know we drifted apart but you did cross my mind many many times. So now your standing beside our father in Heaven. It's a wonderful moment for you so until we see each other my friend. Love  you always.

Wish not to have to say "Until we see one another one day". I still remember when we first met at Bi Rite grocery store. You had a way of making me as well as other's laugh n giving us your advise. You were truly a beautiful person I had the pleasure of crossing paths with Rudy. I will always remember our special moment's. Always will love you my true friend. Well Rudy you beat us all to grandma and my moms good cooking. LOL
I never saw this coming, Its not easy having say good bye, you were so full of life and always had a way of making everyone laugh. My memories of us growing up as kids are always on my mind and things you said and did still make me laugh as I think back. You also left good memories for my kids to remember you as well. Dolores and my family and I will miss you dearly.

Rudy, my co-worker, words can't express. There's already a void we all feel at the store. I hear myself calling u, Ruuuuudy, and u already knew what I wanted, to bring my paper basket upstairs. I already miss u asking if I wanted a coke or something to drink, or when u would talk about the day we were racing with my grandchildren. We had a few ups and downs, but u were my friend Rudy and the only one who I would let call me "9"(that was our secret joke). I will miss u bud, but knowing u are with our Lord and u are thru with the troubles of this world helps with the grief. Rest in heavenly peace, until we meet again my friend!

Where do I start this?  Its the hardest thing for me to do. That's to say goodbye to you. When I first met you in 1988, you were a sweet person. Your personality was one of a kind, your laughter and your jokes is what made you. I'm going to really miss your phone calls when you called just to asked questions or  when you texted or called me at midnight just to say happy birthday.  Especially during the holidays, when I called mom's house you would always answer Happy gobble gobble day or Merry Christmas and playing your favorite song from Freddy Fender.  I know you are probably looking down at me laughing.  I'm really going to miss you.  Your where like a brother to me.  Rest in peace brother in law.   Jo Ann Pena

The Mora Family extends it's heartfelt condolences to all who knew, loved and held Mr. Peña close to their hearts.  Our family interacted with Mr. Peña each Sunday morning for many years as we made our weekly grocery shopping at Foodarama. Mr. Peña always had a kind, respectful and good natured conversation with our father.  As time passed, our father often went no further than the store entrance, waiting for family to carry-out the purchase instead.  Mr. Peña could be counted on to acknowledge our fathers presence, with bottled water in hand (for dad), he held that welcoming weekly conversation before resuming his responsibilities.  Mr. Peña will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he generously touched (dad included).
Rest easy Mr. Peña, thank you for your courteous service on earth.

Rudy was such a sweet and kind person. We knew him from Foodarama and he had become a friend to us both. He was always so helpful ; the day someone broke the window in my car, he was outside with me, cleaning it up and helping me to calm down. He was always  asking about my mom and telling me to say hello to her for him. The store will never be the same to me, I caught myself looking for him yesterday when I was there. Rudy, rest in peace, my dear friend and may The Perpetual Light of God shine upon you now and forever.

Rudy there are no words to explain on how I feel. I remember all the time you came to visit us when we were kids and you would take me to go see your dogs  and your chickens . I miss thoes car rides I would take with you n we would just talk about anything and everything. I love you Rudy it was too soon for you to go but I you fulfilled you destiny so god took you home.... my condolences to Rudy family he well be missed but never forgotten

Rudy was such a kind person and thoughtful person. He helped anyone no matter what they needed and who they were . He was such a hard worker and did such a good job. I knew Rudy for 16 years and the store won't be the same without him. No one can ever replace Rudy. He also helped my mom and dad whenever they would come to the store and shopped.  Thoughts and prayers go out to his family, especially his mother. Rudy always made sure his mom was cared for. He loved her deeply. May God comfort Rudy's family and friends like only he can during this difficult time.

Rudy, you carried my groceries to the car at Food A Rama for so many, many years. When I had to start using a walker, you always took care of that for me, too. Y0u were always smiling and so helpful. Rudy, not a day goes by that I don't think about you. I can still see you sitting at the end of the couch watching TV with me and Mom. You loved watching The Bold and the Beautiful, Good Times, Bonanza, and ohh how you loved your Freddy Fender songs. We would argue about chores that needed to be done around the house, and always about the AC being on or off, but all that was normal between brother and sister. We would call you at work and you already knew to get a pen because you were going to have a grocery list. Anytime I needed help you never said no you were always there to help me. I'm going to miss you dearly. You were the best brother a sister could have. You will always be in my heart forever. I Love you, your sister Anna

We're to begin i have so many memories of you I've known you forever this is so hard to believe it was very difficult for me and especially my daughter she loved you so much you were her Best friend every time we went to your job you were always smiling happy always telling the same story about how long you knew me how you would help my grandma put us in the basket at the store and how you knew us when we were little and how now you know our kids it was always the same story every time rudy you were really an amazing person heaven is lucky to have you but we were just not ready to let you go. I'll never forget you my friend you were truly loved!!!!

Aunt Tana, Our Condolences to you and your family. We are all sad, but look forward to the day when we will all be together. Rudy always talked about Mom's apple pie. I'm sure Mom made Rudy his own apple pie. RIP Cuz. We all love you and miss you.

Rudy will truly be missed. I've known him over 20 years and not once did I see him without a smile. My kids and grandkids will miss our friend Rudy. My condolences to his family you have my deepest sympathy. If anyone earned wings it was you my friend.

Aunt Tana, remember the happy times and pray to our Lord for strength and you will feel better.  Rudy is with his daddy, his grandma and with so many of his relatives that he did not know.
