Stephen Orlando Brown

Stephen “Steve” Brown passed in Bayshore Medical Center on February 20, 2015 in Pasadena, TX due to complications of cardiac infarction. He was 76. Mr. Brown was born on May 10, 1938 in Temple, TX to his parents, Orlando and Faye Brown. He graduated from Temple High School in 1956. He married Margarita Rivera in 1979. The Browns moved to Pasadena where Stephen worked as a Station Repair Technician and Margarita worked as a licensed beautician. Stephen retired in 2004 and dedicated his remaining time to his family and friends. Mr. Brown was a simple man and sometimes did not say much but when he did it was purposeful. He was an avid motorcycle rider in his younger days and liked to meet friends and play pool for fun throughout his life. He also liked playing video games and loved fifties music. Mr. Brown is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Stephanie Brown of Deer Park, TX; his daughter, Kalinda Brown of Tyler, TX; his son, Stephen Brown Jr. of Pasadena, TX; his sister Anne Carole Redden of Belton, TX; three grandchildren; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Joy Brown. Mr. Brown will be cremated and have a memorial service on March 12, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Pasadena Funeral Chapel with reception following. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mr. Brown’s life.
