Grief is many things …. Grief can also make you feel so numb. But it also is a protective mechanism. Yesterday someone was going on and on about Mother’s Day to me . She doesn’t know who I am it was the doctors assistant. But as she was talking it was like my ears were muted. All my reply was like oh really , oh wow how exciting. But I didn’t care nor desired knowing what she was talking about . I wasn’t rude or anything nor did I feel jealous about her plans for Mother’s Day. I simple didn’t FEEL anything. It was then I knew I have become NUMB . Grief was protecting me at that moment not to feel or become sad when in public . Then I thought how beautiful it is for you to be with your mom and sister in Gods heavenly home. Where there is perfect peace and love . Since you have been away mom life is just blah & bland. I can fake the smiles the laughter the everyday life and what it brings . But I’ll never feel the JOY of it. Yes I give God thanks and praise for all HE has blessed me and continues to bless me and my family . There isn’t anything that can change the way I feel deep in the core of my soul it is hollow. Yes I carry all the love you poured into my life since birth . It is that love you given me that I can carry on because I must . Time passes on so do the days, weeks months and years and I still very much long for you mom. Miss you more than I could ever put into words.🙏🥺😭💔

Even though I am going through life … it will never feel the same . Making moments but they don’t feel the same . It is hard to feel excited or even truly happy as I once was before all of this happened. I give God thanks for my family here and those that I love around me. This is so true . We always text or call to let each other know when we arrived back home or to our destination. This time you arrived at your heavenly destination and without warning you were gone . Now when I travel 🧳 anywhere I am alone in this world . I don’t have you to text and say “ mom I made it , or mom I’m about to take off “ not that I am but through grief when you lose the most important person in your life which is you mom I do feel like a orphaned child . It does not matter how old I am it is the fact that YOU are my HOME and your gone from my physical sight . I can’t hold you ,hear you. Having lost you is a lot like looking into the deep ocean. . Sometimes after waking up from a deep sleep there is this feeling of hope .. Hope that when I open my eyes I’m going to run to your room and find you there . A small hope that none of this is true that you are away from me. Three years have passed and it still takes my breath away that I lost you . Yesterday  I spoke to MM cousin the one who lost his son. He says I can’t live like this he was my only son , my only child . How do I even breathe knowing he is no longer here!? Michelle what do I do !? I said LOSS if anything has taught me that you pull strength from deep within . Because when you don’t even feel like it you have others who depend on you . Love is beautiful, love hurts  but that’s the price we pay for being so blessed with the life God has given to us all. I told him grief is heavy and sometimes you just want to crawl out of your skin . He said yes Michelle yes . I said we are human it is okay to question , it is ok to be upset with God . God made us He understands our hurt and sorrows. But He also reminds us we shall rejoice and be glad again when we all are reunited in His Kingdom. We must focus on that and keep our faith . Take it day by day , minute by minute . We are still here because God doesn’t need us YET. Our story our journey is not finished . I know mom it is your love and prayers that carry me on. First thank you Lord . Thank you for allowing me to have the visit of my beautiful mother and my grandparents & uncle Marty . Mom it was Easter 🐣 you all were here . Missing you 😔 mom since the day you left on your heavenly journey. Life just is not as bright and beautiful as it once was. You are the sparkle 💖 the light of our lives . Now everything is just bland & blah. Mandos cousin called on Sunday to inform us that his only son only child was killed . Car hit him head on . Already Sundays are very hard for me it is just a day I don’t particularly like so much . Trauma from losing you on that day .The pain and agony I could hear  in his voice asking God why didn’t he take him instead . His son 36 years old just beginning to become into his own. I said how wish God worked like that . But I reminded him that it is written the day we are born in the BOOK of LIFE the date and hour of our death. I let him know God keeps us because we are not finished with the tasks at hand . I believe that now because how could God not take me with you mom , knowing I would go in a heartbeat. I miss you mom I wish I was in your arms giving you a big tight hug. Nothing in this world felt so good to me and comforting was having a hug . I miss our time together which was all the time and our conversations . 💔😭
