Joan D. Franscioni, 83, long time resident of Paso Robles passed peacefully on Dec. 29th in her home surrounded by loving family. Born in Crawford, N.B. in 1934 to Matt & Anita Hunt. The family moved to Seal Beach, CA. in 1937 and then to Morro Bay in 1944.
Joan graduated from S.L.O. High in 1953 and shortly after met the love of her life Frank Franscioni. Married Nov. 1953 they had 62 incredible years together. She loved parties, adventures, casinos, bowling, travelling and having fun with her wonderful friends and family.
Preceded in death by her husband Frank. Survived by sister Barbara (Hunt) Silas, son Matthew Franscioni (Lulu Orozco), daughter Karen Franscioni-Peters, grandsons Chris Franscioni, Jonathan Franscioni and Ekshua Delgado and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Joan’s Celebration of Life will be on Jan. 20th at the Masonic Lodge in Atascadero at noon. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Atascadero Masonic Lodge of Woods Humane Society. Arrangements under the direction of Kuehl-Nicolay Funeral Home, Paso Robles, CA.
