He was the youngest child of 7 children born to Rita and Julian Gutierrez of Santa Maria, California. He went to school in Santa Maria, California. He went to school in Santa Maria. He enlisted in the Army and spent his service in Korea.
He was married for 68 years to Dolores. He moved to Paso Robles in 1966 with mom and his three daughters, Eva, Stephene and Paula. The youngest daughter, Victoria was born in Paso Robles.
He was a truck-driver for over 30 years. First he drove for Montgomery-Ward until delivery stopped. He then did local delivery for CWX until he retired. He was a proud teamster. He was very proud of his 1964 Candy Apple Red Ford Pickup.
Visitiation is November 20th from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Kuehl-Nicolay Funeral Home in Paso Robles. A catholic mass is November 21st from 11:00am-12:00pm at St. Rose Catholic Church in Paso Robles. Burial with Military Honors to follow at Paso Robles District Cemetery.
