Reuben John Gruber

Reuben Gruber, 78 of Paso Robles, passed away June 5, 2017. Reuben was born in Visalia, CA to John and Cecilia Gruber. He worked as a residential home builder and land developer before retiring to Paso Robles in 1996 where he helped his daughter and son-in-law develop a vineyard & winery. After the passing of his first wife, Reuben met and married Robin Miller in 2002. Reuben enjoyed bicycle riding, traveling, and spending time with his family. His greatest love was his Catholic faith in which he had a special devotion to the Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

Reuben is preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanette Raymond Gruber. He is survived by his wife Robin Miller Gruber, daughters Suzanne Kvarfordt, Debbie Santucci, Raynette Gregory, son John Gruber, two stepsons, Aaron and Brent Miller, seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Rosary and Mass will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 1 pm at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 820 Creston Road, Paso Robles, CA. with reception following. Graveside services will be held Monday, June 12, 1 pm at Visalia Cemetery, 1300 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, CA with reception following.
