

Annette “Nettie” Ella Plasterer, 91, of Pataskala, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at The Embassy of Pickerington. She was born on March 7, 1932 in Columbus, OH, a daughter to the late Creon Bradley and Anna (Gehring) Adams. Nettie grew up in Columbus and always loved the city, especially the Ohio Theater and State House buildings. Nettie studied Opera/Vocal Performance at Capital University and was known for her beautiful singing voice. She belonged to a local theater group, Independent Players where she sang and acted in many stage productions where her humor shown through her characters. In her early career, she worked as a secretary for the Attorney General. After her marriage, Nettie focused on raising her family yet remained active in the Reynoldsburg community and performing arts. Nettie and her good friend Gretchen Ott sponsored a car club, "The Synchronizers” that had a dragster and raced at National Trails. Nettie was also a founding member of the Reynoldsburg Tomato Festival and lobbied for a hospital to be built on the east side. Nettie has always been active in her church, directed choir and bell choir and most recently served as a Stephen Minister at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Pataskala. Nettie was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother and fiend. She was adored by many. Nettie loved nothing more than being with her family. Nettie is survived by her loving children, Debbie (Mark Cunningham), Jill Snyder and Timbo; grandchildren, Megan Snyder, Chip (Megan) Snyder; great-grandchildren, Aydin Snyder, Gavin McManes, Owen Snyder; April Cunningham and many nieces and close friends. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son-in-law, George Snyder, cousin, Ruth Mitchell and step-mother, Willa Bradley. Honoring the family’s wishes, cremation will take place. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Snoddy officiating. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Angels at Embassy of Pickerington, Becki Stockdale and the church ladies for their constant loving support. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Organization for Women, 1100 H Street NW, Suite 300, Washington, DC 20005 in Nettie’s memory.
