Billy Ray Dorsey, age 73 of Pataskala, entered his heavenly home on Friday September 12, 2014 following a long illness. He was born on March 23, 1941 in Hines, West Virginia and was a retired Mason worker. He is preceded in death by his parents Garnett Labon and Icie Pearl (Gibson) Dorsey.
Survivors include his wife Wilma Dorsey; son Rob Heller, grandson Robert Heller, brothers Roy (Jayne) Dorsey, James Dorsey, Ernie (Sandy) Dorsey, Richard (Bertha) Dorsey, and Roger (Terry) Dorsey. Five sisters, Nancy Nickel, Judy Dorsey, Betty June Carr, Ruth (Darnell) Forbes, Donna (Larry) Smith, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Friends may call at the Day Break Church,1226 Pike St in Etna on Tuesday September 16, 2014 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday. Burial will be in Jersey Cemetery with Pastor Dan Tipton officiating. An online memorial will be at www.kaubersammons.com.
